DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) manages the flow of goods and information across a customer’s global supply chain utilizing air/ocean/ground transportation, customs brokerage services, and dedicated warehousing/distribution centers. To be qualified for the Management Trainee program you should be a college graduate (May 2019 – May 2020) with a desire to pursue a career in logistics plus a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain or related field preferred).
GPA 3.0 minimum preferred
Extra-curricular activities demonstrating strong team/leadership experience
0-2 years of working experience in a business related environment and strong leadership experience
Ability to relocate across the U.S. is a requirement to be accepted into this program and to be considered for future professional or leadership roles in the U.S.
Willing to participate in a “hands-on” work environment, self-motivated with a Can-Do attitude, strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
Demonstrates general knowledge of the transportation / freight forwarding industry
A team player with the ability to interact effectively and enthusiastically with a wide range of staff throughout the company
Inquisitive, willing to learn and accept new challenges and responsibilities; motivated toward career growth, learning, and development
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Exceptional computer skills (Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
