Process Engineer – UK

Job Description:

As a member of the asset delivery team, support both the delivery and asset discipline Engineers within the relevant sphere of expertise.

Support the delivery process team in prioritizing workloads and scopes.

Actively support a working culture based on respect for health, safety and environmental issues and maintenance of a high level of asset integrity.

Develop excellent working relationships with offshore and onshore production operations, relevant subsurface teams, the technical authorities, verification engineers and discipline engineers and others as appropriate.

Act as key discipline expert for management and input to Production Loss Reporting.

Carry out and support Root Cause Investigations and execute respective actions to improve equipment reliability and availability.

Offshore visits as required to drive delivery of discrete scopes of work, ensuring flawless handover and execution of tasks.

Managing the relevant vendor activities, materials, spares and performance including input to the Asset Planning process.

Ensures that the integrity, reliability, availability of production, utility equipment and other support systems are optimized, so that production delivery targets are achieved.

Is familiar with the appropriate statutory legislation, Safety Case and Safety Management systems used to support the role.

Ensures all actions assigned within the Petrofac Accident and Incident reporting procedure are closed out within the appropriate timeframe (Synergi).

Visits offshore on a frequency sufficient to ensure that knowledge of staff and key problem areas is maintained.

Qualification:

Chemical Engineering Degree.

Valid Offshore Certifications.

Membership of relevant professional body and either achieved or actively working towards chartered accreditation.

Hands on Computerized Maintenance Management System experience.

Production Efficiency management and reporting.

Process modelling.

Previous experience in Process operations support role.

Demonstrable offshore experience.

Fully conversant with production loss reporting process.

Conversant with Duty Holder Client contracts.

Management of contractual KPIs.

Project Engineer -United Kingdom

Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment:

Act as project focal point with supervised authority within the limits of the project parameters
Accountable for competently performing assigned project tasks without supervision
Work as a project team member or a member of the project personnel
May work in some fields as a specialist
Responsible for maintaining progress against agreed cost, schedule and quality parameters
Able to analyze, diagnose and use project management tools and professional judgement to resolve discreet problems at a project level
Appraise the relevant project management focal point of the performance of the project element
Work to the project interface document to maintain the alignment of client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle.
Maintain communication with Engineering, Construction and Commissioning leads where necessary within the project element

Graduate Process Engineer – Australia

Responsible for the design of renewable energy, Oil and Gas facilities–onshore and offshore worldwide. Employing chemical process principles in various challenging and rewarding roles.
Scopes from initial process concept and field development studies through front-end engineering to detailed design, commissioning, and operational support.
Specification and design of various equipment and process units– separation, compression, , pumps, dehydration, gas sweetening and cleaning, effluent treatment, water injection, product storage and export facilities, chemical injection, safety systems, flare and utility systems, carbon capture and storage
Opportunities to engage with high-end licensed technologies in the traditional and new energy sectors. Potentials to review, understand and adopt novel or high-tech solutions are actively encouraged.
