Job Description:

As a Research Associate within BCG’s Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our Asia-Pacific DRS team.
You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on commercial, multi-industry and economic topics. Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

Job Description:

As an Associate/Senior Associate, you’ll work on a variety of the above topics, applying your consulting skills to strategic digital, technology, and digital transformation questions. You’ll use your expertise and generalist consulting skillset to help CEOs and their teams solve their most pressing challenges, and think about how digital and technology will change the shape of their business. You will be given end-to-end responsibility for the larger and more complex “modules” within a BCG project and begin to develop specialized knowledge to help you solve our clients’ problems. Working closely with clients to understand their issues, you’ll create strategies for change, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.

Qualification:

We’re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry that can join us as soon as possible. You would typically have:
0-4 years of experience working:
with a leading consulting firm (focused on technology/digital initiatives);
in a corporate role focused on technology/digital initiatives (e.g. business analyst);
in a tech start-up leadership role; or in a “consulting-like” industry (e.g. digital strategy, digital marketing)
An outstanding academic track record; a bachelor’s degree and/or Advanced graduate degree; or equivalent work experience;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is nice to have);

Nordic Junior Business Analyst – Sweden

You are in the beginning of your career, either right at the end of finishing your bachelor’s thesis and will graduate soon or with 1-2 years of work experience from relevant field.

You have an interest in Finance and business analytics in general and also an interest within different Finance IT systems/softwares/digitalization etc.

In your role you will work with the following tasks among others:

Reporting, analytics, and data preparations, for the Nordic Finance Analytics team as well as for stakeholders from other departments. Both recurring and on ad hoc.
Supporting various planning and estimate processes.
Supporting on processes relating to digital tools (building SAP financial reports, Alteryx-flows, Tableau visualisations etc.) with the aim of becoming a super-user / expert on selected systems / tools.
Analytics support on internal projects for various departments. Including topics such as: Improvement of current processes as well as developing new ones, various strategic support, digitalization efforts etc.
Preparation of presentation-material to internal stakeholders

Have very strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions and pay close attention to details.
Be flexible and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organization.
Interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Be comfortable managing relationships and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Desired:

Academic degree at least equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics

Systems experience preferred: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Alteryx, Tableau etc.
