Business Systems Analyst (Entry Level) – USA

If you are a Business Systems Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will work in our Digital Experience Tools team and participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of global product business system applications.

Job Description:

  • Provide support for the creation of new applications as well as ongoing enhancements to existing applications that support the Digital Customer Experience.
  • Work closely with global functional site associates to determine the approach, best practices, and design methodology for implementing products into legacy and new web applications.
  • Provide production support for our entire application suite by troubleshooting questions, problems, and issues from the user community.
  • Organize test efforts and perform staged testing of application enhancements.
  • Support global systems including documentation, end-user training, analyzing and troubleshooting systems issues.
  • Participate in project teams to develop the business system for new products, product extensions, or product improvements.
  • Take responsibility for a project/tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with Business courses or related field
  • Zero (0) years related experience

  • Able to collaboratively and efficiently with teams with varied strengths as well as independently.
  • Capable of balancing multiple projects and communicating effectively with team members
  • Passionate about staying up to date on emerging trends and technologies
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Strong presentation skills and work with many partners.
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams and offshore vendors.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with implementing systems such as conceptual design, testing, training, change management and support

Qualification:

Machinist Trainee – USA

  • Receive hands-on training to help kickstart your career in machining.
  • Build pallets, crates, and package goods for shipping, including weighing items on scales, plus using UPS, FedEx and other metering scales for shipping.
  • Work with and identify parts and products by description and number.
  • Read Purchase Orders and identify customer or vendor requirements for shipping and receiving.
  • Pull stock parts from inventory, both physically and in ERP system.
  • Create Bill of Lading and other shipping documents used to ship materials.
  • Contact shipping companies to schedule deliveries.
  • Move product using material handling equipment – forklift, pallet jacks, cranes, etc.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping in all shop areas by sweeping and emptying all garbage cans, recycle bins, chip hoppers and dumpsters

Qualification:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Computer experience required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

PREFERRED:

  • Associates degree or 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Experience in the process control industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred
