Job Description:

1 Digital Driller Engineer

The Training Center of Excellence team is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Digital Driller Engineer to lead the development and deployment of simulator-based training solutions for selected underground drill rig models. This role is pivotal in advancing our journey towards intelligent drilling automation, a digitalized product offering. The role is permanent and based in Tampere (Myllypuro), Finland.
As a Digital Driller Engineer, your mission is to shape the future of underground drilling by translating customer needs and evolving industry trends into a compelling product vision.

Qualification:

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering (preferably in automation, electrics or mining technology)
Knowledge on CANBUS and protocols
Experience with underground drilling equipment or training simulators is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Positive and energetic mindset – you enjoy working in an international business environment
Ability to work independently and travel as needed
Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus

2 Design Engineer (Production Support)

As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for Design and Development of mining equipment, create optimized CAD models/ manufacturing drawings, BOM for sub-systems used in mining equipment and to ensure the quality of drawings produced by Design Engineers. This job involves providing engineering support to various Divisions within Sandvik Mining in Current Product Engineering, New product Development Engineering and Order based Engineering activities.

Qualification:

University degree in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer. You have the needed relevant experience as per the following
Describes Mechanical systems in specific application areas.
Performs analysis of Mechanical systems.
Select Mechanical components considering performance, cost, and service.
Should have good understanding of International standards (ISO)/ IEC / ANSI for welds, GD&T
Selection and sizing of Mechanical components.

Eligibility Criteria:

1 Digital Driller Engineer

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering (preferably in automation, electrics or mining technology)
