Associate Data Center Facilities Technician, University Graduate
Job Description:
Contribute to operations, maintenance, and repairs of non-production facilities systems.
Assist senior technicians (e.g., assess a systems’ working order or read blueprints/schematics).
Follow approved procedures and acquire knowledge of procedural development processes.
Assist in the resolution of tickets and work orders. Acquire knowledge of work order and ticket workflow.
Complete all assigned training as scheduled.
Minimum qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an Associate’s degree program, trade school certification or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field (CMCO, SMT, etc.).
Experience in Mechanical/Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), or electrical.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules.
Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment, work on platforms, ladders and under raised floors.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience at Apprenticeship or Technician level in a critical environment.
Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on-call.
Comfortable performing repetitive technical and manual work.
