Supply Management Planner

Job Description:
The main area of responsibility of Supply Management Planner is parts distribution planning for the European Parts Distribution Center (E-PDC) and service parts through John Deere Factories in Europe.
Scheduling requirements for service parts sourced from international suppliers
Daily supplier communication regarding schedule releases and monitoring supplier delivery performance (On-Time Delivery)
Planning deliveries to achieve inventory management and material flow goals
Coordinating parts deliveries aligned with Factories to meet customer expectations
Ensuring timely delivery of emergency parts for our customers and improving delivery times of all open customer orders
Initiating adequate activities to ensure parts availability at E-PDC (E.g. consideration of alternate suppliers, cost, and others)
Maintaining an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier delivery performance and define corrective actions
Working with the factory and E-PDC systems (SAP, SPERT, JDSN, MS Office applications)

Ideally you have University degree in Logistics/Supply Management Planning area and/or generally in technical area and have good to very good English language skills.
Professional experience in Distribution Planning, Logistics or Supply Management area
Self-initiative driven performance and demonstrated engagement
Very good team player attitude
Good communication skills
Flexibility and a goal oriented daily business management are essential for the completion of daily duties
Good computer system skills (MS-Office, SAP R/3)
