Responsibilities
Premier Field Engineers provide technical support including product technical training onsite, as well as via telephone & electronic media. They help ensure our customers IT environments are kept optimized and healthy. The focus is to do this in a proactive and consultative manner in order to avoid future issues. This includes guidance on best practices, risk assessments, migrations, and onsite, remote and dedicated support services. Additionally, the PFE role provides Microsoft customers with reliable technical solutions to the complex integration problems associated with business solutions built on the Microsoft platform, supporting a diverse variety of technical solutions built with Microsoft devices and services.
Our PFEs deliver proactive and reactive onsite, remote, and dedicated services for Microsoft’s Premier customers across the Europe or EMEA, depending on the technology project they support. Also, they provide various services to our Enterprise customers to increase systems availability, resolve critical issues, and ultimately improve the health of our customers’ environments. They consult with experienced technical staff to ensure they have the skills to troubleshoot and maintain their solution in line with Microsoft best practices.
Qualifications
Pursuing or having maximum 12 months since graduation of a a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, electrical engineering, management information systems, or related STEM fields;
Passion for technology and working with customers;
Confidence to manage executive relationships, both internally and with customers, to create business transformation;
Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of regional/virtual teams;
Excellent communication and presentation skills required; superior customer-service oriented skills are desired;
Available to travel due to customer requirements for onsite services;
English language and local language fluency – Finnish;
Full unrestricted work authorization for Finland.
