We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Global Reconciliations Utility department. The candidate will be expected to work on strategic changes in partnership with the line teams. The candidate will be expected to analyze and improve processes, suggest efficiencies to the team.

Defining the business case for proposed initiatives and supporting with clear documentation

Develop detailed project plans and manage changes in scope, schedule in conjunction with technology partners

Partner with Change the Bank, Technology, and other stakeholders to deliver on key aspects of supported projects

Perform User acceptance testing, ensure testing documentation is kept current and complied with.

We are looking for an Associate- Investment Banking / Capital Markets Support Professional to join our newly established Support Center in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing reporting, analytics, and internal process support to coverage and product teams across Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Lending globally.

Work closely with team members across the Investment Banking Division globally to provide a differentiated level of support to our everyday operations and strategy, including internal management and client coverage related tasks

The Analyst, Senior Analyst and Associate roles are responsible for working closely with Client Relations Representatives and Senior Client Relations Representatives in order to support the maintenance of client accounts and relationships within the firm.

Job Requirements

4-year degree, preferably in related discipline such as economics, finance, marketing, or hospitality; work experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
0-4+ years proven experience working with financial services advisors / money managers.
Introductory experience with registered investment advisors (RIAs), the Family Office community, separate accounts, unified managed accounts (UMAs), tax-efficient products, and/or indexes a plus.

Investment Management – Performance Analyst – Analyst – UK

GPAR is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our London team. As Analyst of attribution and performance analytics, you will work closely with the investment teams, risk team, sales & marketing, senior management to provide both standard and bespoke performance analyses, with a focus on Equity and Multi-asset asset classes, additional asset class / areas (Fixed Income, Regulatory reporting, Competitive Analysis reporting) of coverage might be assigned. The individual should have a willingness and interest in continually expanding one’s knowledge of the investment process, finance/economics, and applied investment analytical skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a quantitative field.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of both traditional asset management and alternatives investments (derivatives, fixed income, cash equities, mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity).

Experience in using FactSet, Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, and other performance attribution vendor systems is preferred. Additional proprietary tools are also used.

Understanding of basic accounting principles – ability to interpret performance impact of various transactions and corporate actions.

Asset management performance calculation knowledge, including of alternatives return calculations.

Understanding of performance attribution theory and practice

Understanding of PRIIPs and UCITs regulatory frameworks and application of relevant guidelines in asset management context is preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Excel, including designing, creating, and maintaining complex spreadsheets, power queries, reports, and charts.

Python, SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
