Job Description:
•Using a combination of Python and JavaScript skills they will need to maintain and enhance existing in-house tool “Storage Reporting Platform” (SRP).
•The person will be responsible for looking at the daily reports and work with the technology subject matter experts (SME) to fix any issues.
•They will develop and enhance automate code testing using AGILE and LEAN methodologies.
•Maintain and regularly review supporting documentation to ensure it is current and meets requirements.
You will need to have shown a high competency in the primary tools used in the development of SRP (Python/JavaScript/Flask).
•Python, with in depth knowledge of Python web frameworks (Flask)
•JavaScript, with experience with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
•In depth knowledge of version control systems (GIT)
•Familiarity with SQL, and comfortable to use SQL query directly
•Knowledge of Agile Workflow methods (including JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins)
•Knowledge of database design on ORACLE (including relational design)
•Knowledge of Testing tools; Python(unittest or py.test) / JavaScript (Selenium, Mocha, etc)
•Linux command line experience
•Unit testing, and experience of using Scrum/Kanban
•Experience of Elastic Search
