Mechanical & Pipeline Engineer – Graduate Programme 2019

Petrofac currently has an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join its team based in Woking Successful candidates will start the Graduate Development Programme in October 2019.




The Job role
Our Engineering and Consultancy offering based in Woking, supports clients in unlocking value from their assets through to the provision of life cycle engineering. We deliver across the up-stream and downstream sectors, on and offshore. We are looking for a graduate that will work at our office in Woking and they will have the opportunity to train and work in our Mechanical and Pipelines disciplines.
• Individual will work as part of a team of engineers providing assistance to other engineers, undertaking discrete tasks under close supervision of Lead / Senior Engineer.
• Ensuring equipment compatibility and conformance with client specifications and re-quirements. (Per Contract).
• Ensuring compliance with Petrofac’s ISO Quality procedures, Project Quality Plan and Design Integrity processes and procedures. Complying with other Petrofac accredited frameworks such as ISO 14001.




• Performing related duties as agreed with supervising engineer
• Providing input to preparation of deliverables by other Engineers.
• Review Basis of Design, philosophies, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Undertaking specific tasks/area of work as defined by the supervising Engineer, including input to Routing Studies, Mechanical Design, Layouts, Drawings and Datasheets.
As the individual develops through the graduate scheme we will mutually identify areas of the individual’s interests and discuss and agree where they feel their future career best lies.
• Minimum 2:1 or Master’s degree relating to Mechanical or Pipeline Engineering
• High level of numeracy and IT skills
• Team Player
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel offshore/Overseas
