Finance Assistant
Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring financial transactions are efficiently processed and financial records are accurately maintained so that financial reporting supports management of operations.
Accounts Payable (New Zealand and Malaysia)
Work Order entries into accounting system
Suppliers/Consultants/Inter-company invoices into accounting system
Prepare Accounts Payable Aging Report.
Fixed Asset (Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia)
Perform addition and/or deletion of fixed assets
Update of fixed asset register
Asset Tagging
Run monthly depreciation
Cash Management (Australia, New Zealand & Malaysia)
Cash entries into Cash Management module in company ERP system
Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Prepare Payment Requests
Prepare weekly and monthly cashflow report
General Tasks (Asia Pacific)
Maintain proper filing of all accounting records including agreements/contract
Assist Finance Manager in other finance and accounts matters as and when needed
Qualification:
A recognized degree in Accountancy/Finance, ACCA or equivalent
Experience using Oracle system will be an advantage.
Capable of interpreting/analysing financial and proficient in MS Office Application
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly independent person with sense of urgency, responsible and result-oriented
Positive work attitude and able to work under pressure
Proficient in written and spoken English
