Job Description:

Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Qualifications:

Job Description:

Perform a variety of job assignments to develop key skills and gain a working knowledge of the organization
Attend classroom training, self-study assignments, workshops, networking, and other events
Participate in or provide support for low-complexity initiatives within functional area including assisting with performing audit testing for assigned audits
Review basic or tactical issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact
Receive direction from more experienced audit staff and managers and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Experience in Audit, Risk, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education

A degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, information systems, or technology related degree

Financial Accounting Associate – India 

Wells Fargo is seeking Financial Accounting Associate. This role is for skilled professionals with experience in public accounting. The candidate would be providing support in financial accounting domain to multiple lines of business & control functions and would be communicating frequently with mid to senior level stakeholders throughout the organization. The candidate would be expected to perform varied accounting functions, incl. reconciliations of associated ledger accounts and preparing workpapers used in presentation of financial statements and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/ Post-graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
6+ months of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience in Financial accounting roles with expertise in Reconciliation of Inter-company GL’s & JE postings
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles & US GAAP
Ability to work both independently and within team environment across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

Financial services industry expertise with specific experience in US GAAP reporting would be preferred.
