Technical Assistant – Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:

Provision of administrative support to the wells project teams.
Production and maintenance of document templates such as schematics, drawings, charts, spreadsheets, presentations and reports using Microsoft Office applications.
Document control for wells projects teams.
Maintain and champion the use of wells document templates for each phase of the Project Delivery Process.
Format review and publishing of wells technical documents such as technical programmes and final End of Well Reports (EOWRs) to meet customer requirements.
Admin support to Engineers and management to organize and prepare for key project delivery process workshops and customer audit or performance reviews e.g. DWOP’s, Risk Reviews, Readiness Meetings, Quality Audits, and Performance Reviews.
Administratively support the rig start-up process, including support for new user account creation, a focal point for office IT equipment readiness and support engineers with rig start-up file content readiness.

Qualification:
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a technical business, with experience of influencing colleagues to support business improvement and department admin processes.
Organized, good attention to detail and motivated by technical administrative activities.
Team and customer focused with excellent communication skills.
Schedule management and ability to work to or adjust deadlines to meet expectations.
Formatting & Reformatting of engineering documents in line with department templates where applicable.
Support knowledge for wells technical and admin software applications e.g. Landmark, ERP etc.
Power User of Microsoft Office application.
Experience in prioritizing tasks in a work environment, applying initiative and a logical approach to new work challenges.
Previous wells department administrative role experience preferred.
