Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities Plastic & sheet metal is primarily. Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for process mapping, machine selection
Cost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new components
Supplier quote analysis and providing comprehensive report/ negotiation dossier to Commodity team for Price negotiation discussion with Supplier
Hands on experience of cost mapping for engineering parts & assemblies.
Should be able to define best suited manufacturing process, machine selection, cycle time calculations.
Drawing reading, good knowledge of GD&T.
Working experience of various should costing software like aPriori
Should Costing Engineer – Electronic
Experience: 1-12yrs

Job Description
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with of Medical Devices/ Automotive industry experience as SQE engineer. On-time execution of APQP and PPAP activities as per the plan.
Knowledge on ISO 13485 for medical devices / IATF QMS Experience of Supplier identification, supplier
development and New Part development.
Follow up with suppliers in Part development in a timely manner.
Review the PPAP documentation and co-ordinate with the supplier for timely closure of the findings.
Analyze quality issues, work on RCA and corrective actions closure.
Knowledge of PPAP, Supplier Audit, 7QC Tool, 8D, SPC, Gauge R&R etc.
Knowledge of Minitab, EtQ Reliance and other quality tools.
Supplier Quality Engineering
Experience: 1-7yrs
Location: Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Vadodara
