Job Description:
- The selected consultant will be required to support for
- To create various proposals on engineering options. Information Fitment Drawing preparation
- To create the Time Plan & tracking Projects as per Time plan from E&E Prospective Deliverables.
- To Conduct IQA for starting charging components along with various supplier
- To Design calculations like Charge balance, Battery and Alternator rating selection
- To capture Specification requirements and Document preparation
- Testing and Validation support
- Proto/Production/Field support
- To Coordinate & Conduct Design Verification Testing at Component and Vehicle Level /
- Application Level with the Focus on Reliability & Serviceability.
- To Provide all Necessary Support as a Subject Matter Expert and collaborate with Various Teams
- Ex. prototype , Production & Service Teams
- Teardown & Benchmarking of E&E Systems Used in Competition & Prepare the Reports Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of Automotive Electrical system, various electrical aggregates used in vehicles
- Design and development knowledge for Vehicle Starting and Charging system components like Starter Motor, Alternator, Battery, etc
- Knowledge of vehicle level, component level testing & data generation activities for starting charging components
- Knowledge and hands on experience of DMU & CAD packaging in Catia V5, reviews and releases in PLM system.
- Sound Knowledge of Auto Electrical trouble shooting
- Sound knowledge of Engineering process tools such as DFMEA, 8D, ECN, etc.
- Knowledge of DVLO / CVLO / SVLO / SAM / 4D
- Basic knowledge of EVs & Li Ion battery
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management and Product life cycle Management for starting charging components
- Knowledge of electromechanical components & their interface on vehicle
- Basic knowl edge of automotive Standards & Regulations
- Design Software Tools: Experience in Catia V5, Exposure to JT Visualization, Database K nowledge: Exposure to PLM
Additional Requirements:
- Should be able to read and specify Electrical and electronic specifications/p arameters
- Exposure to GD&T.
- Should be able to work in shifts.
- Should have good Communication skills.
- Experience in EV will be an added advantage
