The Cummins Mexico Aftermarket Product Management department is looking for a university student to provide support to the team while gaining experience and learning in an exciting and fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

University student in mechanical engineering, commercial, industrial or marketing fields.

Enrolled in the 2-3 last semesters of their program. Active student until June 2026.

Availability to cover 7 hours daily Morning (8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday).

Good oral/written communication skills, both in Spanish and English is a must (intermediate to advance English level)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point and Excel required.

Apprenticeship – Engineering

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering candidate to join our team specializing in engineering for our alternator business in Peterborough, UK. During your apprenticeship with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

Summary of the Course:

The engineering apprentice role is a developmental position within our engineering teams. During the apprenticeship, you will work 5 days per week, including 1 day per week for study at Peterborough College. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a Level 3 Engineering Design Technician.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Work across multiple engineering departments and provide valuable input towards alternator design

Work with our design teams to design efficient and robust alternators

Manage projects across multiple functions to ensure our alternators are released to customer specifications

Support customers directly with configuration and sizing of product to meet customer demands

Test alternators to ensure compliance with the international codes and standards to which we adhere

QUALIFICATIONS

GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and 5 or above in Science, with at least three additional GCSEs at grade 4 or above. Preference given to candidates who have studied a GCSE in Engineering or similar technical subjects.

Evidence of interest in engineering through school projects, extracurricular STEM activities, or relevant work experience in an engineering environment (e.g., building, designing, or contributing to technical projects).

Demonstrated excellence in mathematics and physics, with solid scores that reflect analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Shows initiative by taking ownership of tasks, seeking opportunities to improve, and contributing actively to team goals.

Application Engineer – Trainee

We are currently looking for a person for the position: Application Engineer – Intern

Location: Modlniczka near Krakow (fully stationary work)

Form of employment: possibility of working part-time (½ time, ¾ time) or full-time

Knowledge of Polish and English at a communicative level required

Job Responsibilities: 

Customer support in engine selection (Engine Selection) and installation review at the design stage (Design Review)

Participation in Installation Reviews of simpler Cummins engine installations

Analyzing and reporting test data using MS Office and Cummins tools

Collaboration in identifying technical problems and potential solutions

Support for the following departments: Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Production

Domestic and international business trips are possible as part of support for collections.

Job Requirements:

Preferably a student currently studying mechanical engineering or a related field

Knowledge of combustion engines or a genuine passion for this subject

Valid category B driving license

Knowledge of English at a level that allows for free communication

Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional skills welcome:

Basic knowledge of calibration and development of measuring equipment
