RF System Integration Engineer — Cellular Technology
Apple System RF team is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF) System Integration Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing RF automation testing systems used on Apple’s products for Cellular technology.

Job Responsibilities
Supports multiple products by authoring scalable software and applying strong engineering fundamentals.
Contributes to a multi-faceted software suite based on C/C++.
Candidate will analyze RF performance in conjunction with multi-functional teams to identify and root cause RF issues.
Will be familiar with one or more wireless standards.
Qualifications
Excellent fundamentals or relevant experience in C/C++ or a similar language.
Good knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications theory.
Good understanding and experience with testing and analyzing of RF metrics and impairments.
Good knowledge of RF lab equipment.
Familiarity with data processing and statistical tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or understanding of current Cellular standards.
Experience in developing test solutions or systems.
Familiarity with Antenna and OTA test methodology.
Verbal and written English skills.

Cellular Software Development Engineer
We are looking for a highly reciprocal individual who can excel in a high-paced environment.
Apple’s Cellular Software team is seeking talented, highly motivated, and disciplined engineers to work across layers on ground-breaking cellular technologies. The position involves identifying and/or developing core cellular technologies that solves everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.
Qualifications
At least 2-8 years’ experience with cellular protocol stacks
Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (C, C++, script) and debugging (GDB, LLDB)
Experience on Telephony / Modem Interface / Non-Access Stratum / Access Stratum / L1 Layers
Good understanding of 3GPP/ETSI standards
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Master’s in, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge in LTE / 5G NR technology is a strong plus
Highly motivated and self-directed
Excellent problem-solving skills
Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently participating multiple projects across many teams
Obsessively passionate and inquisitive and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
