Technical Information Systems Engineer
This entry-level / early career engineering service–focused role develops, maintains, and supports information technologies, functional excellence initiatives, and product information change management that enable engineering and technical practitioners to work efficiently and effectively. The role supports Global Systems Engineering (GSE) by ensuring documentation quality, data integrity, and reliable information flow across enterprise systems such as Seismic, PowerSuite, and related platforms, while adhering to standardized policies, processes, and governance standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and improve service experience.
Knowledge of CMS, PLM systems, CRMs (Salesforce), marketing platforms, and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Experience
Entry-level / early career professional.
Preferred experience includes internships, co-op roles, temporary student employment, or early career roles in information systems, engineering services, data management, or related technical environments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field is required.
A relevant post-graduate (Master’s) degree may be required for select roles.
Responsibility: Support GSE in maintaining documentation and data integrity within Seismic and PowerSuite – ideally someone with background in data governance/management or content strategy
Attention to detail (data management and governance): Ensure accuracy and consistency in information across different platforms and documents
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple systems, documents, and reporting platforms.
Maintain proper version control, documentation, and standardized naming conventions for all data assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues and provide clarity on definitions, lineage, and usage rules.
