We are hiring Entry and Associate Level engineers for a variety of positions in support of the GMD Systems Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) program.

Entry Level Systems Engineer (Technical Integration) – USA

We are seeking engineers that are motivated by being part of a mission critical program, learning engineering discipline and rigor, and participating in the MDA Technical Integration effort.

Job responsibilities:

Support the MDA with integrating the components of the GMD Element using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, processes and architectures
Support the development of Integration Points to demonstrate Integration Readiness of the GMD Element to external stakeholders
Support early integration and test planning and schedule alignment between GMD Components
Assess integration readiness of the GMD Components to support MDA Increment fielding
Support configuration, data and work flow management of program specific MBSE tools and processes and interface specifications
Support interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify system solutions.
Support definition and coordination of system performance requirements and technical parameters.
Support test and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Preferred:

Internship or previous full-time experience in an engineering role.
Experience with Cameo.
GMD Program Experience.
System of Systems Integration Experience.
Knowledge of Agile Development and Integration process.

Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)  – USA

Job Responsibilities:

Support or lead the development and documentation of systems requirements, architecture, and design using a Model Based Engineering Approach and tools
Develop or support the execution of systems-level concept of operations, system and subsystem requirements, and system level verification.
Conduct system level analysis, architecture and requirements trade studies
Support program and supplier requirement and design reviews
Prepare and publish contractually required Documentation, including performance specifications and verification reports
Support or develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
Evaluates customer and operational needs to help define and coordinate the system architecture, performance requirements, technical parameter integration, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
1+ years of systems engineering related experience
Experience working in a team environment with strong ability to collaborate virtually
Ability and willingness to travel for 10% of the time

Preferred:

3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Associate Systems Engineer – MBSE – India

Job Responsibilities:

Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for systems of system.

Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team

Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software

Perform functional and logical decomposition of system and develop requirements, perform three way mapping of requirements, functions and logical elements.

Participate in converting document-based to model-based architectures, refactoring of existing models

Ability to use of multiple architecture frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Ability to identify and implement model-based architecture and engineering methods and standards

Perform system modeling of various aircraft systems/components and also modelling of various business process of Boeing enterprise using respective profiles and framework.

Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents

Link / Trace system models to requirements, architecture, design and various artifacts from product lifecycle.

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

Demonstrate excellence in use of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and systems modeling methods, at least one systems modeling tool: (preferred) NoMagic, Magic Draw or IBM Rational Rhapsody; others considered if applicable.

Provide team activity report to the MBSE Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT related field or equivalent.

This position requires 3+ years of demonstrated experience on MBSE/SysML/UML methodologies.

This position requires 4 plus years of Systems Engineering experience with the exposure to production Engineering. MBSE/SYSML, System design, Tools and processes.

Summary Pay Range Entry Level $61,000 – $108,000

Summary Pay Range Associate (Level 2): $81,600- $110,400

Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $97,750- $132,250
