Systems Software Engineering Intern

We are looking for Systems Software Engineering Intern to join our team and work with the newest technologies associated with client graphics. You will work with development and validation engineers to develop and maintain GPU compiler.

Participate in regular code development, optimization of existing code and contribute to increasing quality of code and/or performance of the product before it ships to customers
Create code builds, create and execute tests for these builds and support engineers who are using the builds, mainly other development and validation engineers
Actively participate in other stages of software development life-cycle e.g. research, validation, pre and post-release support activities, etc.
It is a great opportunity to learn new technologies including: compilers, 3d graphics, ray tracing and many more.

Knowledge of computer graphics theory

Test development
Compiler knowledge i.e. LLVM internals

Core Competencies

Qualifications

Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or related quantitative field of study
2+ years of experience in discrete-event predictive modeling and digital twin manufacturing simulations
2+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Python, R, and applied statistics

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Analytics experience
Analytics and machine learning experience with regression, clustering, neural networks, and classification
Advanced experience in data analysis, data visualization, statistical analysis, and time series analysis
Production planning and manufacturing automation experience
Optimization experience with CPLEX and linear/mixed-integer programming
