Data Center Production Operations Engineer
Meta is seeking a Production Operations Engineer looking to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced and complex environment. A working knowledge of server hardware and the desire to participate in projects at a large-scale data center is central to this role. This position will work to resolve and diagnose compute issues at scale, escalate issues, and work with remote engineering teams. Additionally, this role will support rack lifecycle processes with a focus on helping build out and support cloud scale compute and storage environments. This person should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and flexibility will be key to their success.
Qualifications:
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical field, or equivalent experience/certification
Knowledge of Linux and server hardware support
Working knowledge and experience in at least one of the following core areas: Networking, Programming/Scripting, Hardware, or OS repair
Solid communication skills are a requirement for this role
Preferred Qualifications
Working conceptual knowledge of technologies such as HTTP, DNS, RAID, and DHCP
Experience modifying and developing in Python, SQL, and/or shell scripting

We are looking for a skilled backend developer to join our team, whose mission is to develop custom infrastructure in close collaboration with researchers and engineering team in order to support bleeding edge AI, haptics research, and broad-coverage models of human perception and perceptually-driven outcomes. We are specifically looking for someone interested in collaborating with scientists and building scalable and robust services. Job Responsibilities
Build reliable and reusable software tools and libraries to accelerate research and integration programs
Develop custom ML compute infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Python, as well as a variety of Meta-specific technologies

Qualifications

Network Production Engineer (University Grad)
Job Responsibilities
Build experience with Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure Engineering teams through rotational experiences during your first year
Build, manage and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol data center and backbone networks
Develop optimized network monitoring systems
Design, and deploy new network architectures
Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events
Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues
Be an active participant in deep technical discussions
Develop and maintain consistency within the network infrastructure
Qualifications
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with computer networks
Experience with UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similar
