Quality Assurance Trainee 

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Trainee (m/f/d) to join our Innovation Team!
Test applications on web and mobile platforms to identify and report bugs while ensuring the software meets quality standards (manual testing suport).
Partner with developers and PM to understand project requirements and testing objectives.
Attend team meetings (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning) to identify areas where testing efforts are needed.
Work on automating API tests using tools like Postman, Swagger (or other tools as suited).
Support the setup and execution of testing frameworks under mentorship.
Help write detailed, well-structured test cases and scenarios based on functional requirements.
Log bugs with helpful descriptions and reproducible steps using bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
Gather insights into testing processes and provide suggestions for improvement with the team.

Qualification:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
You are able to work independently and also thrive in team collaboration.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
Familiar with the basics of API testing concepts on tools such as Postman or Swagger. (Prior experience is a plus but not required—you’ll receive mentorship and training!)
General understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
Eager to learn and open to feedback.
Beginner-level knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation, and familiarity with agile workflows and tools like Jira, are an advantage.

2026 Graduate Program – Railway Signalling Systems

Job Responsibilities:

Produce design for all components of a wayside signaling system solution including but not limited to complex circuit design and power supplies,
Functional design for components of a signaling system including Scheme Plans and Control Tables (Logic Tables)
Application logic data design for fail safe interlocking systems and associated maintenance tools
Design and engineering support for railway Operational Control Systems and HMI/GUI including SCADA systems
Design and engineering support for telecoms systems and networks supporting railway signaling and control systems
Design and engineering support for High Capacity Signaling systems such as CBTC and ETCS
Design and software engineering support to Train Control Management systems and enhancements such as Digital Conflict Resolution and Train Planning Systems
Verification and validation on design and engineering outputs

Job Requirement:

A strong technical knowledge of railway systems and equipment with sufficient underpinning knowledge
Ability to analyze technical solutions and propose innovative alternatives
Formal technical qualification to degree standard in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Some knowledge and experience across the design domains of systems engineering, signaling, train control, train protection and communications.
Flexibility to travel as per project requirements
Excellent self-discipline and adherence to quality forms and procedure
Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Mechanical Desk Engineer DE – Mobility Customer Services

Siemens Mobility is seeking to fill a Mechanical Desk Engineer position in the Wilmington, Delaware facility. This job entails direct support in fleet monitoring and maintenance planning for the Siemens Locomotives and duties to support Siemens Customer Service. The Mechanical Desk Engineer also provides technical oversight to the contractual depots and administrative services to the Siemens Reliability and Service Managers. This position requires on-site attendance in Wilmington, Delaware and works a day shift to include weekends and holidays. Individuals must have flexibility to work all shifts.

Qualification:

Associate’s degree in a technical field (i.e. Electrical, Electromechanical, etc.) or proven technical maintenance and operational experience.
Ability to solve practical problems, exercise initiative, and deal with various changing, sometimes unclear, situations.
Strongly demonstrated computer skills and willingness to learn computerized maintenance management systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to generate administrative reports.
Effective communication, listening, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to learn project-specific software programs and online tools.
Ability to continually challenge the status quo, providing strong leadership for continuous improvement of results and efficiency.
Ability to walk through a structured troubleshooting process – staying calm in complex and time-critical situations.
Ability to travel: 5% domestically
