Organizational Development Specialist
This is a key role in our center of expertise, supporting the full TSUK value chain. You’ll collaborate across the business to create and deliver impactful training & development programmed, enable cultural transformation, and build high-performing teams ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
Reporting to the Organizational Development Manager, you’ll support the design and delivery of people strategies that align with business needs. You’ll lead and support initiatives including training and development programmes and talent management strategies and processes.
We’re looking for someone who can not only design but also personally deliver engaging learning modules – especially at line manager level – without relying on external facilitators. Whether you’re rolling out strategic programmes or coaching leaders one-on-one, your work will directly support our goal of a high-performance, values-led culture.
From assessing organisational needs to developing bespoke interventions, your insight and expertise will be instrumental in shaping the growth and effectiveness of individuals, teams, and the wider business.

Job Description:
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in designing and delivering people development programmes – ideally within large, complex organisations. You should be confident delivering sessions up to senior manager level, skilled at working cross-functionally, and passionate about enabling people to reach their potential.
Qualification:
A relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (e.g. Graduate CIPD)
A solid background in talent management and development, leadership development, or change management
Proven experience in hands-on delivery of training programmes, particularly for first-line and middle managers
Examples of direct facilitation without reliance on external providers
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data to evaluate impact and shape decisions
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Familiarity with digital learning tools and HR systems would be an advantage

We’re now looking for an Operational Improvement Analyst to join our Caerphilly site. It’s an ideal role for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to develop in a commercial manufacturing environment, gaining exposure to all aspects of a dynamic, forward-thinking operation.
You will help to drive efficiency and improvements throughout the Production and Materials areas. You will identify and drive through efficiency improvements to support future business growth. • Analysing operational data and presenting insights through clear charts and reports
• Supporting the development of standard operating procedures and process improvements

Qualification:

We’re looking for a Process Control & Automation Engineer to join our Cold Rolled Products team in Port Talbot. Structural Applications Support
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your structural knowledge in a commercial, advisory setting – helping specifiers and designers make confident, informed choices about steel products and systems.
You’ll be part of our national Technical Advisory team, working closely with customers, specifiers and internal stakeholders to provide engineering guidance, design input and product support.
Responding to technical queries about structural steel products
Supporting engineers, designers and contractors with specifications and standards
Assisting with product compliance, load tables, and structural calculations
Creating and reviewing technical content, guidance notes and design tools
Supporting CPD presentations and representing Tata Steel in industry forums
Support the development and maintenance of project tracking systems to ensure effective project oversight
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities for the structural team, including benchmarking, customer insights, and competitive trends
Enhance brand visibility by promoting awareness of Tata Steel and its product offerings
You’ll have a solid foundation in civil or structural engineering, combined with strong communication skills and a practical understanding of construction and design processes.
Qualification:
Hold a minimum of an HND (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering with a degree qualification preferred
Ideally, experience in building design or steel construction
Good knowledge of Eurocodes and UK structural design standards
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset
