Job Description:
Creates and manages balance sheets by assisting with preparation of formal balance sheet reviews; retrieving data; obtaining explanations from account owners for fluxes exceeding thresholds; compiling information within closing schedule; and preparing master balance sheet listings.
Provides customer service to internal departments by sharing reconciliation techniques; explaining procedures; and offering advice on proper account usage.
Manages account ownership by reviewing corporate balance sheet accounts; accumulating sub account data; researching account activity; verifying accounts are reconciled or scheduled for reconciliation; conducting queries; retrieving data; comparing and verifying numbers; prioritizing account review order based on dollar volume; and escalating concerns to senior management

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR 2 years experience in accounting, finance, or related field OR Associate’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field and 1 year experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
