Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our accounts payable operations. This individual will be primarily responsible for processing accounts payable entries related to drop ship and expense invoices, managing employee expense reports, and reviewing and coding company credit card transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments. A passion for continuous learning, strong customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Demonstrated experience coding and processing accounts payable transactions, including drop ship and expense invoices.
Familiarity with expense report review and credit card transaction coding is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency with Excel (basic to intermediate functions, VLOOKUP required); experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica or other Windows-based platforms is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work performed.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies independently.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
